Step 1: Snap bright pink cap on to white 4x4 parabola. Stack dark blue trans. caps and red trans. caps, add gearshifts. Place “scoops” in goblet. Add yellow transparent caps to red and green transparent cones.


Step 2: Build cart base by attaching dark pink 2x2 brick and pink glitter 1x2 brick to light gray axle plates. Stack both white 1x2 plates and add to cart base as shown. Place black tires on white rims.


Step 3: Add the white 1x2 plate with handle as shown and top cart with white 2x4 plate. Add condiments, dispenser bottles and ice cream sundae to pegs on top of ice cream cart.


Step 4: Add the cap/parabola assembly to the white antennae pole and place “umbrella” on remaining peg on top of cart.


Step 5: Carefully add wheels to pegs on light gray axle plates and you’re ready to roll for a big day of ice cream sales.

BLUE VICTORIAN DUPLEX

This posting features images of a custom architectural structure designed and built by Brick Trick artist Philip Buchan. Philip used images of houses from our home city of SAN FRANCISCO for research, reference and design inspiration. This version is an interpretation of a classic Victorian Duplex with two side-by-side units.

PINK PALACE MOTEL • CUSTOM MODULAR BUILDING

CUSTOM MODULAR PINK “PALACE” MOTEL

This posting features images and details for another in the series of BrickTrickDude custom modular buildings. The stylish, mid-century inspired, PINK “PALACE” MOTEL is an original creation from the Brick Trick Dude building studio here in San Francisco and is one-of-a-kind.

EXTERIOR: The PINK “PALACE” MOTEL project features 3 stories of space and a roof deck constructed on a 16x32 peg base plate. The front exterior is decorated on the sidewalk level with a palm tree and plants, as well as a cool tile design in the sidewalk delineating the motel entrance. The building itself is a stylized creation reminiscent of 1950’s era motels of the past. The second floor exterior has big “glass” windows and letters that form part of the signage, while the third floor exterior has more glass and 2 additional letters forming part of the “PALACE” sign. The rooftop sun deck has the swimming pool, BBQ, lounge chairs, umbrella, elevator and is surrounded by a glass safety railing; plus the “P” in the “PALACE” sign. The entire front façade is a color scheme of bright pink as well as white and light gray accents. The letters in the “PALACE” sign are transparent green. The back and sides of the building are white with accents of bright pink and light gray. The back also features “grass” and a picnic table for motel guests, as well as a door to access the ground floor lobby. Modular construction techniques allow the roof and top floors to be removed for interior viewing and then easily re-stacked.

INTERIOR: The lobby and check-in counter occupies the interior of the ground floor. The space has high ceilings, a reception desk, floral arrangement, artwork on the wall and a seating area. Plus an elevator that takes you to the other floors and the roof deck. The entire ground floor is tiled in transparent green with some white tile accents near the elevator. The second floor is a “double” room with two beds, lamps, desk and other accessories. The third floor is a “king” room, with large bed, sitting area with chairs, lamps and more.

DETAILS: Project contains approximately 1,200 bricks and parts and includes three minifigures as shown, (2 females, one male; NOTE: The female figure in the red swimsuit is the “Life Guard” character from Minifigure Series 2). The front sidewalk is constructed of white smooth tiles, (and accent colors), and does not match other building sidewalks of larger-scale architectural projects from the manufacturer, however the light bluish gray curb does match. There are no technic bricks with holes on the sides for joining to other structures. Finished model weighs approximately 3 pounds. Model measures 5 inches wide and 10 inches deep at the base plate. Building stands approximately 12 1/4 inches tall at the highest point of the rooftop elevator.

Step 1: Place flowers on stalks. Stack 6 brown 1x1 bricks in an offset fashion as shown. Add white 1x2 bricks and green cone to white 4x4 plate. Place bright pink caps on green leaf parts.

Step 2: Place dark pink 1x1 bricks on the white 4x4 plate to complete the perimeter of the planter. Assemble green leaf parts into two branch canopies of three leaves each as shown.

Step 3: Add the white 1x2 and 1x4 smooth tiles to the planter perimeter. Place the tree trunk inside planter. Stack flower stems and place on the green transparent cone.

Step 4: Carefully place the first branch canopy assembly on trunk and top with remaining brown 1x1 brick. Then add the remaining branch canopy and your tree is complete.

Step 5: Attach the “leash” to your minifigure dog and to your GAL PAL. Now you are ready to add the TREE PLANTER and DOG WALKER to your brick town!

RED DOUBLE DECKER BUS

RED DOUBLE DECKER BUS

This posting features images from the new RED DOUBLE DECKER BUS. The RED DOUBLE DECKER BUS is an original creation from the Brick Trick Dude building studio here in San Francisco and is one-of-a-kind. Currently this model is for sale on Ebay.

EXTERIOR: The RED DOUBLE DECKER BUS project features a rolling vehicle built on an 8x28 peg custom chassis with four large black rubber tires and light bluish gray rims. The front of the bus has an entry door to the driver cab and a large window on both the lower and upper levels. There are headlights and taillights, as well as rear view mirrors. The back of the bus has the classic open-corner entrance. The sides and back of the bus also have numerous windows. The roof of the bus is red smooth tiles, (with silver vents), and the main body is red. White and light gray stripes decorate the sides and back of the bus body. Modular construction techniques allow the roof and second level to be removed for interior viewing, and then units can be easily re-stacked.

INTERIOR: The RED DOUBLE DECKER BUS can seat a driver and 11 passengers on the first level. A spiral staircase just inside the back entrance takes riders to the second level with 15 more seats, (a minifigure driver and six passengers are included). In European fashion, the driver is situated on the right side, (you can change the driver to the left side if desired).

DETAILS: Project contains approximately 400 bricks and parts and includes seven minifigures as shown, (4 females, 3 males). Finished model weighs approximately 1.8 pounds. Model measures 2-1/2 inches wide by 9 inches long and is 6-1/4 inches high at the top of the silver roof vents. Minifigures stand about 1-5/8 inches high, depending on their hat or hairstyle.

Step 1: Place both brown chairs on bright pink 2x4 brick to form “park bench”. Stack brown 1x1 bricks in an irregular manner. Attach all three bright green leaf parts by stacking on the single outer peg as shown.

Step 2: Place sprues of dark pink flowers on green stalks. Use one entire four-flower sprue per stem. DO NOT REMOVE flowers from center sprue part.

Step 3: Add the flower and stem assemblies to the center peg on the top of each bright green leaf part. This completes the cherry blossom flower and tree branch canopy.

Step 4: Place the white picket fence, the brown/bright pink garden bench and the tree trunk on the green 4x8 plate as shown.

Step 5: Carefully place the tree canopy on top of the 1x1 stack so the assembly is centered on trunk. Place minifigure on the park bench and enjoy the shade!
