TAN & DARK GREEN FASHION BOUTIQUE • CUSTOM MODULAR BUILDING

TAN & DARK GREEN FASHION BOUTIQUE • CUSTOM MODULAR BUILDING

This posting features images from another in the series of custom modular buildings designed and built here in the BRICKTRICK studio. While created to coordinate with other brick CITY, TOWN or TRAIN buildings in minifigure scale, this nicely detailed and finished brick sculpture will also work well as a stand-alone piece. The TAN & DARK GREEN RETAIL FASHION BOUTIQUE is an original creation and is one-of-a-kind.

EXTERIOR: The TAN & DARK GREEN RETAIL FASHION BOUTIQUE project features 3 stories of space constructed on a 16x32 peg base plate. The front exterior is decorated on the sidewalk level with a fruit tree and a white tiled walkway with steps to the entrance, as well as custom tile in the sidewalk. The second floor exterior has two arched windows and the third floor exterior has two arched windows and “crown molding”. The rooftop features a large “skylight”. The entire front façade is an attractive scheme of dark green, tan, light bluish-gray and white. The back and sides of the building are entirely tan with accent stripes of white and light bluish-gray. The back features operable windows on each floor, a ground level back door, and a recycling dumpster with broom. Modular construction techniques allow the roof and top floors to be removed for interior viewing and then easily re-stacked.

INTERIOR: The RETAIL FASHION BOUTIQUE occupies the interior of both the ground and second floors. The first floor retail showroom features a cash register tucked under the stairs, a female “mannequin” in the front display window, a table of hats at the back, a fashion and hat display table and a wall-mounted display of pants and shirts. The entire floor is tiled in white and shiny green transparent tiles. The second floor has more clothes on display with a male “mannequin” wearing a top hat and tuxedo. Other fashion includes hats and uniforms, which are displayed on a table and along the wall. There is also a small fitting room. The top floor is a private office and staff lounge, with a bookshelf, desk with mug and chair, lateral files, a sofa and “glass” coffee table and accessories.

DETAILS: Project contains approximately 1,200 bricks and parts and includes three minifigures as shown, (2 females, one male). The front sidewalk is constructed of white smooth tiles, (and some accent colors), and does not match other building sidewalks of larger-scale architectural projects from the manufacturer, however the light bluish gray curb does match. There are no technic bricks with holes on the sides for joining to other structures. Finished model weighs approximately 3 pounds. Model measures 5 inches wide and 10 inches deep at the base plate. Building stands approximately 12 inches tall at the highest point of the skylight ridgeline, and measures 11” high at the top of the front crown molding.
