EXTERIOR: The PUB-N-GRUB RESTAURANT project features 3 stories of space constructed on a 16x32 peg base plate. The front exterior is decorated on the sidewalk level with awnings, flowers and a tree, as well as a cool tile design in the sidewalk. The second floor exterior has two arched windows with an awning, while the third floor exterior has two more arched windows with “stained glass” and an awning. The entire front façade is a sophisticated color scheme of dark green, dark red, tan and accents of black and white with pearl gold. The back and sides of the building are tan with accent stripes of black, white and dark green. The back features corner columns on either side of the building which match the front façade, windows on each floor, a ground level back door with awning, and a trash dumpster with broom. Modular construction techniques allow the roof and top floors to be removed for interior viewing and then easily re-stacked. The roof section also has a large “skylight”.
INTERIOR: The “PUB LOUNGE” occupies the interior of the ground floor. The pub space has high ceilings and features a bar with stools, a large “flat screen” TV above the bar, bottles and goblets, beverage dispensers, a cash register and a cozy table for two beneath the stylish gold and black spiral staircase which leads to the second floor. The entire ground floor is tiled in transparent green. The second floor is the dining room, with a trio of “deuce set-ups”; which is restaurant jargon meaning three tables for two. The dining room also has plants, elegant pearl gold railings and another spiral staircase, which leads to floor three. The top floor is the kitchen with sink, range with hood, roasting oven and warming oven with drumsticks, “sub zero” refrigerator, cabinets and a worktable.
DETAILS: Project contains approximately 1,200 bricks and parts and includes three minifigures as shown, (2 females, one male). The front sidewalk is constructed of white smooth tiles, (and some accent colors), and does not match other building sidewalks of larger-scale architectural projects from the manufacturer, however the light bluish gray curb does match. There are no technic bricks with holes on the sides for joining to other structures. Finished model weighs approximately 3 pounds. Model measures 5 inches wide and 10 inches deep at the base plate. Building stands approximately 11 1/4 inches tall at the highest point of the front crown molding, and is about 12-1/2” high at the peak of the skylight on the roof.
