PICNIC BBQ BIRDBATH PATIO & GARDEN VIGNETTE
Above: Image shows a new vignette from the BRICK TRICK studio.
Greetings BRICK TRICK BLOG friends!
We've been busy behind the scenes here in the BRICK TRICK studio building and developing new ideas. The images in this posting feature a new vignette. This idyllic scene includes two minifigures enjoying a drink at the picnic table. The backyard or park vignette also has cool items like the oven-style barbeque and red tile patio. The garden has a tree, picket fence, lots of pink, red, white and yellow flowers and a gold bird bath!
Below: A close-up shot shows the minifigures at the picnic table.

ALL FEMALE MINIFIGURE COLLECTION
Above: The 4 GAL PALS in the ALL FEMALE MINIFIGURE COLLECTION #1.
Greetings BRICK TRICK BLOG Friends!
Many of our visitors and customers know that female minifigures are often hard to find and only come in a limited number of outfits and hairstyles. We assembled some less-than-traditional female minifigures which include the 4 GAL PALS shown above and four others in a second collection.
From left in the photo: JENNIFER the EXECUTIVE wears a pink blouse, powder blue suit jacket and tasteful white pants. She has "blonde" hair and is holding a pink transparent coffee mug. FIRE CHIEF JOANNE has a flaming orange ponytail and a walkie talkie. POLICE CHIEF HEATHER wears a black police uniform and has a caution paddle. CONSTRUCTION WORKER CHLOE has an orange vest and she keeps things clean pushing a broom.
We hope this set inspires you to create your own unique female minifigures. If you really like this exact set you can find it available from BRICK TRICK DUDE on Ebay.

PURPLE BRICKS
Above: An assortment of hard-to-find DARK PURPLE bricks and plates.
DARK PURPLE BRICKS
Purple is a highly sought after brick color and not many are widely available. The color in this posting is DARK PURPLE and was most often found in themed kits that were released in conjunction with a popular book-turned-film series. We have a few purple bricks in our collection, though they are hard-to-find and at the more expensive end of the price scale for the specialty colors. Recently we acquired a stash of new dark purple bricks from two sources smart enough to have purchased many when they were still available from the manufacturer. We're pleased to have enough now to possibly build a purple building!

Greetings BRICK TRICK BLOG Friends!
We've been working on various cars here in the studio and Mitch came up with this version with some input from Philip during the design and building session. Mitch uses dark pink 1x4 arch bricks to create the car "fenders" which conveniently fit right around these chunky tires. Directions to build this model will follow in a separate posting and you can use your own bricks or purchase a kit from BRICK TRICK DUDE on Ebay to create an exact replica.
Below: The HOT PINK CONVERTIBLE from the rear view shows off the "torpedo" tail lights created using red transparent cones. The "fins" are built using dark pink slopes topped of with white 1x1 slope bricks.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009
Above: Image shows the cover of the box from the CITY TRAIN STATION kit which was a gift received by one of the BRICK TRICK artists during the holidays.
HAPPY NEW YEAR BRICK TRICK BLOG FRIENDS!
We hope you has a safe and healthy holiday season and that Santa brought you all the plastic bricks you wanted and lots more!
BRICK TRICK artist PHILIP BUCHAN was the recipient of numerous brick sets this year. You may have noticed that Philip prefers to design his own projects rather than build models from directions. However, Philip built several models he received this season including the CITY TRAIN STATION and a discontinued model of the CREATOR TOWN HOUSE. Philip built both of these projects and others following the printed manufacturers directions. More images of these projects will follow in subsequent postings. Meanwhile, Philip is working on plans to expand and improve all the kit models he built and customize them with his own details.
Many more pictures of these projects will follow. We'll also be posting building ideas for those who were recipients of BRICK TRICK DUDE custom mixes on Ebay.
Thanks again for checking in and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
