LIME MODERNE ROW HOUSE • HOLIDAY TOWN

LIME MODERNE ROW HOUSE • BRICK TRICK HOLIDAY TOWN
Another addition to the HOLIDAY TOWN project is this model based on a moderne-style row house from the nineteen fifties. The bold use of lime green is representative of many of the bright and sometimes wild color choices featured on buildings throughout our home city.
Above: Image shows a computer rendering of the LIME MODERNE ROW HOUSE as it looks on a wide-screen LCD monitor.
This is another creation where Philip used photographs of actual homes from a nearby neighborhood as inspiration. Philip likes to use the digital designer program to build the house model first as a computer rendering. (This program is available as a free download from the brick manufacturer official web site). Then Philip builds the structure with parts and pieces from the BRICK TRICK studio collection of goodies. In the case of this model, some of the details changed from the concept rendering to the actual completed work. Most notable changes are the lack of a stair banister and the white-framed window panes. An architectural graphic element was also added to the finished brick house on the porch overhang.
