Philip's BIG RIG TRUCK
Above: A sunglass clad minifig is in the driver's seat in the BLACK BIG RIG model designed and built by brick artist PHILIP BUCHAN.
This posting features a Big Rig model designed and built by BRICK TRICK artist PHILIP BUCHAN. Through a combination of brick experimentation and a digital brick creation software program, PHILIP designed and built the BLACK BIG RIG model using photographs of real MACK trucks as reference material. More photos of the BLACK BIG RIG follow.
Above: Side view shows the operable doors. Other features include adjustable rear-view mirrors and a jewel hood ornament.
Above: Front view shows grill and front bumper. Note how reverse slopes are used to create the wheel-wells around the tires.
Above: The tall space at the back of the cab is the sleeper compartment. The cab chassis is outfitted to accomodate a variety of trailers to transport whatever needs moving.
